The City of Greenville Fire Department restarted this project several times due to budget concerns. It was an expansion of an existing pole barn structure to provide extra space for training equipment, allow room for group training and meetings, and to provide a base for emergency operations, if needed. The renovation also brought the facility up to current life safety and accessibility codes.
